Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

ToolDepth respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Personal information. We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it — for example, by submitting a contact form or subscribing to our newsletter. In those cases, we only collect the information you provide (name, email address).

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes anonymized data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and referring website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

Local analytics. We use a client-side analytics system that stores anonymous browsing data in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly interact with our site (page views, scroll depth, outbound clicks). This data is used solely to power our trending content dashboard.

Cookies

ToolDepth uses cookies for:

  • Third-party tracking. We use Google Analytics for anonymous page view statistics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique users. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
